Giovanni Alberto Triano, a Brooklyn native, is known to his fans as Johnny A-Train. Johnny is the leader of the Loco-Motions, a Big Band based out of New Orleans. He, the band, and the band's torch singer Delilah Jones, are the modern-day counterparts of the Zoot-suit swing bands of the pre and post-war era. Mister A-Train however, is a graduate of Julliard and is at home with the music world's elite, as well as the street musicians he meets globe-trotting with his band.
During his travels, he finds himself drawn into situations that require him to act like his hero Bogart did when portraying detective Sam Spade in the classic old black & white movies. He quotes Bogart's famous movie lines often, while imitating Bogey's delivery.
